Early Saturday morning, a Sidney resident reported the theft of the $3,000 air compressor the night before by a man who had been on his property two days in a row, taking the compressor the second day and causing property damage in the process. It happened Sunday morning on Peach Orchard Drive, in Pikeville. The police report says that Joshua Jones, 32, had been fighting with his girlfriend on Saturday, and she went to stay with her father that night. LANGLEY, Ky. — A Floyd County pair was arrested when police went to conduct a welfare check on three children, only to find a variety of drugs mixed in with their toys. The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office was called to the Langley home of Kristina Blankenship, 28, to look in on the children, ages 2, 6 and 7.
